Professional Experience
William Gardner focuses his practice exclusively on Real Estate Law specifically, lender representation and relocation transactions for nationwide clients. He has experience with all types of Real Estate matters, both commercial and residential, including but not limited to closing, foreclosures, evictions, bankruptcy and various corporate matters.
Mr. Gardner spent eight years as the principal and managing attorney of his own firm, William J. Gardner, P.A., which handled thousands of closing, both residential and commercial throughout Florida with an emphasis on REO transactions for national lenders and mortgage servicers.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Gardner managed and supervised the closing and title departments for a statewide law firm which focused on representing lenders nationwide. He resolved issues including residential and commercial real estate closings, bankruptcy matters, foreclosure, evictions, probate, code enforcement, title insurance and corporate matters. He previously served as assistant vice president and state counsel for claims and underwriting at First American Title Insurance Company where he supervised statewide claims litigation, underwriting for agents, and direct operations. He also served as a commercial title examiner and underwriter for Chicago Title where he handled numerous multimillion million dollar commercial transaction form title examination to closing.
He has lectured on various title insurance matters and has authored articles on related matters in Florida Land Title News.
