Professional Experience
Thomas Cantwell is an attorney in the Firm's Business Litigation Practice Group. He has significant experience representing clients in all aspects of complex, civil litigation arising in courts in state and Federal court. He has successfully represented clients in the areas of contract, employment, insurance, and tort litigation as well as in various bankruptcy proceedings.
Prior to coming to Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., Mr. Cantwell held a clerkship for the Hon. Paul E. Davison, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before his clerkship, Mr. Cantwell worked for a boutique litigation practice in Coral Gables.
Mr. Cantwell has held a Teaching Fellowship at Harvard University as well as teaching assistant positions at Magdalene College, Cambridge, and the University of Southern California.
